It’s well know that Mitochondria are involved in immunometabolism, i.e., immune cell fate and functions and these likely contribute to the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.
Together with members of Lübecker Institut für Experimentelle Dermatologie we examine the functional biology of mitochondrial genetics using deep sequencing of whole mitochondrial genome.
