- Computational Biologist
- Ph.D. student in project M07 (Multi-Omics Analysis of Sex Variability) of the CRC 1665 – Sexdiversity
Scientific profile
- Svenja Denker graduated in Molecular Life Science at the University of Lübeck in 2022. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in oncology as well as in data analysis and bioinformatics. She did her Master’s thesis in the research group bioinformatics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön under the supervision of Professor Dr. Bernhard Haubold.
- Since 2023 she has been working in the medical system biology group where she mainly focuses on analyzing sequencing data from cancer projects.
- In 2024, she started working on her doctoral thesis. This thesis is in the project M07 – Multi-Omics Analysis of Sex Variability of the Collaborative Research CentreSexdiversity – Determinants, meanings and implications of sex diversity in socio-cultural, medical and biological landscapes (SFB 1665).
